About Tobi Hunt

Tobi Hunt had over 22 years experience in banking and finance.

She has recently left her corporate job to start her own event planning company called Tobi Hunt Events, LLC.

She loves to partner with local non profit organizations to raise money for their worthy causes.

She is currently working with The Mental Health Partners of Boulder and Broomfield Counties where she and Bella Weber will raise money at the Dynamite Divas 2nd Annual Women's Spring Expo on June 10th and 11th in Westminster, Colorado. 

At her Hats Off To: Luncheon on November 6, 2010 at the Hotel Boulderado, she raised over $1700. Kitty DeKeifer Development and Public Information Office from Mental Health Partners announced that they have established a
Tobi Hunt Fund where the money raised goes to a special program for young men ages 15- 30 with mental health issues.
 
In 2010, her own Lunch and Network group raised several thousand dollars for ThereWithCare, a local Boulder non profit agency that helps critically ill children and their families. She also raised money for The American Cancer Society as well as Aaron Huey's teen intervention program called Sober Living Home.
 
To celebrate the "Purchasing Power of Women", Tobi designs and sells her adorable purse power pins and accessories as the owner of Purse Power, LLC  in Boulder, Colorado. Check out her website at www.pursepower.biz for her unique pins.  She has also worked with the United Way's Power of the Purse fund raisers across the country.
 
Tobi was honored with the BPW State Award for Best Programs in Colorado in 2008 in recognition of the outstanding speakers and programs enjoyed at Boulder's BPW monthly meetings.

A constant BPW ambassador, her efforts encouraging others to join the organization have helped revitalize the membership. In March 2009, Tobi won the Boulder BPW 2009 Member of the Year Award!   The Boulder BPW Holiday Market's success as a new fundraiser was due in part to Tobi's tireless fundraising efforts to help find vendors for the event.

Incredibly, she still has time to host her own networking events: "The New York Gals Group", "Breakfast and Network" and "Lunch and Network" and now "Dinner and Network", where she helps market, support and promote local Boulder county women and men business owners.
Recently, Tobi has partnered up with Bella Weber to do event planning for women.

On May 1st 2010, they hosted their first Dynamite Divas Women's Spring Expo at the Aloft Hotel in Broomfield, CO. They had 80 vendors, six awesome renowned speakers and a fashion/style show for all to enjoy. The event was open to all women in the Denver and surrounding communities and was a big success!

Tobi was also on the cover of Women's Magazine speaking about the Purchasing Power of Women in the April 2007 edition.
