About Tama Kieves

Tama J. Kieves, an honors graduate of Harvard Law School, left her law practice with a large corporate law firm to write and to embolden others to live and breathe their most meaningful self-expression.

Kieves is a sought-after speaker and career coach and has helped thousands of individuals world-wide to live their creative dreams.

She is the founder of Awakening Artistry, an organization dedicated to creating a global family of visionary minds, creative souls, and empowered leaders. Her dynamic work has frequently been featured on T.V., radio, and in national publications. Most recently she appeared on Canada's nationally televised "The Vicki Gabereau show," said to be Canada's "Oprah," and was noted in Forbes Magazine.

She is the best-selling author of THIS TIME I DANCE! Creating the Work You Love/How One Harvard Lawyer Left It All to Have It All (©2003 Tarcher/Penguin) which was chosen as a Finalist for the national Nautilus Book Award, along with the Dalai Lama's The Art of Happiness.

She is known for her dynamic humor, electrifying presence, "realness" and the big possibilities she brings to every room.

 Currently, she presents workshops and retreats nationally and internationally and has appeared at the Omega Institute, Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and the Canyon Ranch six star spa.
